When I first met Tim and Laura  we were getting to know each other and I asked them what they did together for fun and Tim honestly responded “Well, she shops and I hold her bags.”  I thought that was hilarious.  Such a sweet guy, what gal doesn’t love when her man holds her bags?  I always look for ways to capture the love and personalities of my couples so we did a His and Hers session.  First we started at the mall…and Tim, well he held her bags!  Then we headed over the baseball fields where Tim coaches.  He and Laura played a little ball and the girl can hit too!  Ok so onto the photos!

Tim holding the bags!

Yesterday I got to photograph Cindy and Matt’s wedding! It rained most of the day, but during a break in the weather we did Cindy and Matt’s first look in the “Romantic Garden” owned by Mrs. Paula Knight.  She and her husband built the garden with their love and graciously let us use it for couple to see each other for the first time on their wedding day!  Mrs. Paula also lent the couple a Venetian umbrella that was the perfect shade of purple and Cindy’s wedding color.  Here are just a few of my favs from the garden!

Meet Alex and John!  They are such a perfect match.  Alex’s bubbly/giggly personality always keep cool and chill John on his toes.   I have really enjoyed getting to know you two and see how your personalities balance each other so seamlessly.  It was a joy to photograph y’all.  We started their session under the beautiful boughs of the cherry blossoms when they were at the peak of their bloom.  So onto the preview.  It’s amazing how Alex is always laughing but she can rock the serious look too.

When Alex and John were dating all of their important conversations took place on a little bench outside of John’s apartment.  They deemed it their bench….so of course we had to snap a few photos there.

John is also quite the musician and sang a little ditty for Mrs. Alex Q.

The Rings…we were all so happy that they had all three rings! Lea’s wedding band was custom made and shipped to her the day before her wedding, just in the nick of time.

Greetings from Scotland!!
I just wanted to share a few of the gorgeous pictures of Donna and Jason’s wedding.  Donna and I were buddies in high school, and she invited me to photograph her wedding in Scotland!! The wedding was a dream… the weather started out really heavy with a mix of snow and rain but by the ceremony it had totally cleared up! We had a blast with Donna and Jason.  Their bagpiper Andrew was incredible and gave them many wedding and Scottish blessings… it was such an honor to be part of their day!
The wedding took place at the Dalhousie Castle. Just breathtaking!
