So this is gonna be a BIG post. I spent some time in the big ol’ beautiful state of Texas last week for Brian and Simpson’s wedding weekend! Koutsunis and I flew out on Thursday for their destination wedding in the beautiful city of Fredricksburg, TX. When we got there we got right to an engagement session and and also a quick bridal shoot. It was an awesome kick off to the weekend…..However, Brian had to take care of that ’stache! So Simpson gave him a little help before we started the engagement session.
After cleaning up, Brian surprised his bride-to-be with a bouquet of sunflowers… How romantic.

We took the engagement and bridals at the Kairo Celebration Barn….where their reception was held. The landscape and amazing trees were so beautiful!

They just light up around each other… It was great capturing all the inloveness!!

We were in a cow pasture and very narrowly missed sitting in a cow pie! hahah! But, check out all the amazing sunshineyness!

So stinkin’ cute!

Simpson’s awesome event designer Elizabeth Harris gave us the hookup with this adorable old truck. It was awesome for the shoot and it was actually the couple’s get away car for their wedding.

Simpson was just rockin’ those boots.

Brian and Simpson sittin’ in a tree!

It was a beautiful TX sunset!

Now onto the bridal. Here are just a couple of my favs from the bridal shoot. Simpson is such a beautiful bride!

Her fun shrug was just perfect for a December wedding.

And last, but not least the first look at Mr. & Mrs. Brian Hogan’s wedding.
We snuck out of the reception for a few romantics.

One of my fav shots from the night. All the guests really kept the dance floor rockin all night. I was lucky enough to get the group to look up! I love it! Soooooo fun!

Thanks so much to the Hogan and Purcell families. We really felt like family this weekend. It was such an honor to be part of such a special time in your lives. Simpson and Brian, enjoy that warm Mexico weather and check back for more images next year! haha (in a few weeks) Look out 2010! To see all Brian and Simpson’s engagement photos click ***HERE***

What great pictures! We were so pleased. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family. Esp. love the picture of Simpson and Brian in front of the truck during the reception and the one of the crowd. We Texans and Georgians sure love to dance.
Christmas came early for us!
Thank you.

Great pics of the couple. What love and happiness showed thru in every pic. Your portrait shots were amazing too. She is a truly beautiful young woman inside and out and you captured her beauty! Congrats Simpson and Brian!
[...] Oh and my fav shot I have already posted in their “first look post” ***HERE*** [...]
I love these pictures and they bring back such wonderful memories of the great time in Texas for the wedding. I love having outdoor pictures and the colors are so perfect. Can’t wait to see all the wedding pictures. The best comment I heard at the wedding was “She works so fast” - no endless standing around waiting - especially for the 80-something grandmothers. Love your work.
